Free event dedicated to promote the french know-how, “the French Week of Siem Reap” was born of the daring gamble of some entrepreneurs settled in this city which drains every year millions of tourists.

Building on the success of its 2018 debut, it will return this year from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 10 and once again invest the prestigious Raffles Grand Hotel.

The goal of the 2019 edition is to host about 4,000 people, the local organizing committee, composed exclusively of volunteers, has spared no effort to concoct a rich program.

In addition to the exhibition booths of 60 companies and organizations listed, the “French Village”, located on the esplanade of Raffles, will offer over these four days a variety of varied activities including an introduction to golf, films and short films screenings, presence of young caricaturists, dance and music performances or a parade of fashion designers from Cambodia.

It will also be the scene of happy barista and petanque competitions. The Village will also house the “Pavillon Français des métiers d’Art”, where the “Concours d’Excellence” will be held for the first time to highlight the craftsmanship of French savoir-faire in Cambodia.

A crazy DJ evening is scheduled from 9pm on Saturday 9 March and a concert of Jazz Gipsy, on Sunday at 7:30pm, will end the festivities.
