Organized since 2010 by the Cambodia Film Commission (CFC) and the Bophana Center, the Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) is the largest film event in the Kingdom.

As every year, for six days the CIFF will celebrate the 7th art in all its forms (fiction, documentaries, animation) in the best cinemas in Phnom Penh: Prime Cineplex, Major Cineplex, Legend Cinema, French Institute, Chaktomuk Theater and Bophana Center, as well as during outdoor screenings in Koh Pich.

The 2019 program will feature more than 130 films from 35 countries, many of which are made-in or about Cambodia. Highlights include the late documentary of Rithy Panh Graves without a name, In the life of music by Visal Sok and Caylee So presented at the Tokyo IFF, and Funan, the animated film of the young French Denis Do awarded by the Grand Prix of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2018.

CIFF will also celebrate Filipino, Swedish and Belgian cinemas and pay tribute to the French director Hubert Charuel who received the César for the best first film in 2018 for Petit Paysan.
