Famous tourist destination, Krabi is about to become an artistic getaway.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), the first Thailand Biennale will host more than 50 local and international artists under the theme of “Edge of the Wonderland”, between November 2, 2018, and February 28, 2019.

Unlike conventional art museum exhibitions, Thailand Biennale will be staged outdoors on natural sites in Krabi. Krabi, with its majestic mountain ranges, beautiful beaches, stunning coasts, and hundreds of fertile islands, is truly the wonderland of the Andaman.

Among the international artists, the public will discover the installations of Aram Bartholl, architects duo of Map Office, French artist Felix Blume, Rikuo Ueda or the collective Vertical Submarine.
