Marc, a Breton enthusiast of vintage yachts, oversaw the restoration of L’Orientale, a classical 60ft motor yacht dedicated to sea lovers. She is now available for charter from Phuket.

Designed by the famous naval architect Charles W. Wittholz and build in Hong Kong in 1978, L’Orientale has most recently been refitted in 2018 to combine the charm and elegance of a bygone era with modern comfort and state of the art facilities. She offers a panoramic living room and accommodation for seven guests in three cabins. The interiors are timelessly classic with rich wooden tones exemplifying elegance and comfort. Outside she has an alfresco dining area on the main aft deck, where you can savor Thai and Mediterranean cuisine served in the French way, plus a relaxation lounge area on the upper deck.

The highly professional crew includes a Captain, a Cook, a Steward and a Sailor. In order to escape the crowds and have the feeling of being on your own private sandy beach, a bespoke itinerary designed to meet your Somkit, who totalizes 25 years of sailing experience and has helmed many charter cruises in South East Asia can advise you to plan the perfect yachting itinerary, combining your needs with recommendations about the best time to visit particular areas.

Lying on the comfortable sundeck, you will relax enjoying a Chalong Bay special beverage while admiring sights of dramatic beauty of the sea mountains which rise vertically out of turquoise waters. The more adventurous can take the tender or the kayak to explore secluded bays, hidden coves with white-sand-beaches beyond which are hidden caves and beautiful inland lakes.

L’Orientale is supporting the Swiss foundation HopeHouse by sharing a part of revenues with. The mission of the Foundation is to support motivated children from deprived families to go to school and get decent education in Thailand and Laos.
