17 September 2018

From September 28th to September 30th, the second edition of the Nordic Film Festival will take place. The Embassies of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland will present two movies from each of the four countries.

The idea is to mark how the Nordic countries are all unique but at the same time share common priorities such as sustainability and gender equality. Thus, the movies will represent different aspects of Scandinavian identity, depicting nature, art, culture and the way of life in the Nordic countries.

Several Oscar-nominated films will be screened, such as the comedy Superclásico and Kon-Tiki, which was shot in Thailand. Children will be able to watch the well-made Moomins on the Riviera. The movies will be presented in their original language with English subtitles.

Appointment at Quartier CineArt, at the fourth floor of the EmQuartier. The entrance is free and the tickets can be picked up half an hour before each screening.
