Alliance française,

Bangkok as One

After having left sathorn’s premises in 2013 for Wittayu street, the Alliance française has just moved once again, into a more modern and fitting site for its numerous activities.

This time it’s only at a stone throw, just in front of the old building, which will be erased in the frame of the impressive One Bangkok project, with which the new Alliance will eventually be integrated.

Over 5 floors, the 6,500sqm building comprises 29 classrooms, a 330sqm interactive library, a brighter dance room and a more spacious sewing room.

A brand new 216 seats auditorium offers premium acoustic and higher ceilings, for enhanced artistic experiences, in harmony with the exhibition area.

As a privileged partner of Alliance française Bangkok and its library, the famous French bookshop Carnets d’Asie remains faithfully on duty, while, from the opening on July 27, a brand new electric tuk tuk is the link to Wittayu for pedestrians and a new Café Mademoiselle welcomes hungry guests.
