French Highlights #2

Latitudes Team

9 October 2017

In November and December, the French Highlights returns with different cultural events.

In reality those are simple artworks, but in augmented reality every piece is brought to life! A humorous and poetic journey from crafts to digital, paper to screen, motionless to animated. The digital agency MNSTR joined forces with 12 varied artists coming from a broad range of backgrounds (graphic designers, studios, illustrators, photographers, street artists…) and they all played along with the JOY theme.

Be Claude

There’s a man washing a window. It’s Claude. He is cleaning, washing, scraping, wallowing, getting exhausted, drying and drying. We can feel that something inside of himself wants to become radical and prodigious. It is perhaps his soul that he washes. Or maybe he is making room for something… An avant-garde theatrical for a daring festival: Unfolding Kafka Festival 2017, which this year will also visit the Maiiam in Chiang Mai.

G Bistaki Cooperatzia

Composed of 5 dancers and jugglers, the G Bistaki, choreographic circus of investigation, will transform museum Siam to make you discover an impressive and poetic story. Each of these men dance and play alone with tiles. But when one dervish begins a movement, the other ones follow to make and unexpected chorus in an unexpected tiles’ landscape.
